Steve Bannon forced out of Breitbart executive chairman post

Steve Bannon, appointed chief strategist and senior counselor to President-elect Donald Trump arrives arrives for the Presidential Inauguration of Trump in Washington, January 20, 2017.

Bannon's incendiary remarks to Michael Wolff, author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House", were too much for President Donald Trump.

Mr Bannon, who was previously Mr Trump's closest confidant, questioned his former boss' mental stability and claimed those close to the President described him as a "moron, an idiot".

Mr Trump has recently taken to referring to Mr Bannon as "Sloppy Steve", a derogatory reference to his former aide's famously dishevelled appearance.

The chief strategist had lost many allies in the West Wing after Chief of Staff John Kelly's staff shakeup and was blamed for some of the infighting that had paralyzed the White House.

Breitbart has been widely criticised across the political spectrum in the US for its misleading, divisive and far-right stories that often target Muslims.

Bannon still thinks of himself as a revolutionary.

"It's unfortunate, but anyone who wants to support Danny I'm sure we would be happy to have", she said. "I have a minority interest in Breitbart News and I remain committed in my support for them". He returned to Breitbart, but couldn't resist grabbing the spotlight on a regular basis with his critiques of the administration and its departures from the orthodoxy of the campaign. The New York Times was first to report the news.

But do the vultures have to circle so quickly? That broke a record set in 1872.

Wolff says Mr Trump "sold his losing campaign" to the Mercers in August 2016, when they offered to inject $5 million ($A6.4 million) to turn his dire poll numbers around.

Stephen, as he usually does with even the least controversial of guests on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, turned up the heat on Wolff.

"Theirs was a consciously quixotic mission".

This was not the revolution Mr Bannon, just a year ago, may have envisioned. "Will they resume the cultural war against Hollywood and the liberal elites that Andrew Breitbart started or continue down the path of being a political action committee that tries to pick winners or losers?" "When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind".

"The Civil War was not fought over slavery, but in defense of states' rights", Warner wrote.

Randall Hansen's military history book focuses on the Allied bombing of Germany in World War Two.

More than half of GOP primary voters say they'll vote for someone besides Heller, according to an October poll. "You are so lucky I gave you that privilege". "I wonder who today he's on the phone with, or who is he at a bar downing V-8 with - or whatever he's drinking?"
