Powell's immediately sells out of 'Fire and Fury'

Melania Trump

John Dean, who directly implicated Nixon in the Watergate scandal and cover-up in the early 1970s, tweeted a picture Thursday night of a passage from author and reporter Michael Wolff's controversial book Fire and Fury: Inside The Trump White House. "Trump is going to get worse and will become uncontainable with the pressures of the presidency".

"What's the president's reaction to the growing number of suggestions, both in this book and in the media, that he's mentally unfit to serve as president?"

Bannon was referring to Trump's son Donald Jr, son-in-law Jared Kushner and campaign manager Paul Manafort. Do not cut, copy or lift any content from this website without our consent.

"Liar and phony", read an email from the Republican National Committee featuring Wolff's picture and selected quotes from other journalists criticizing his work. Some of the aspects of his win or the fact that he brought his wife Melania Trump almost to tears ahead of the election and possibly even the passage where the book states that he only believed that could be President after he won the November 2016 Election, strengthen the belief that Hillary Clinton lost the election rather than Trump winning it.

It's worth noting that some of the figures in the book have denied the claims in the excerpts (reportedly Rupert Murdoch and former deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh).

"That is why you are seeing this forceful pushback by the US president", said Eastabrook.

Wolff, his agent and his publisher did not immediately respond to a request for comment. He also said he had spoken to Trump since the inauguration. High-level White House staffers called around town to find out if they had been mentioned.

Wolff says the book is mostly based on talks with people who have worked closely with the president.

According to New York magazine, which first published the extracts, Wolff was able to exploit the Trump administration's political inexperience to gain an unusual amount of insight.

"What a f***ing idiot", said Murdoch, shrugging, as he got off the phone.

The White House has criticized the claims in the book, with press secretary Sarah Sanders calling it "complete fantasy".

However trust President Donald Trump, the leader of the free world to not take such 'malicious' contents in the book likely. "My window into Donald Trump is pretty significant".

"It used to be inside of 30 minutes he'd repeat, word-for-word and expression-for-expression, the same three stories - now it was within 10 minutes".

The president saw to that when he threatened to sue the author and publisher, which only encouraged them to push up the publication date by four days, from Tuesday of next week to Friday.

Wolff went on to say that he has recordings of some of those conversations.

"I'm a nice guy", Wolff said.

Several independent sources have noted that author Wolff is known for publishing provocative material that has turned out to be unsubstantiated or disputed.
