Bannon a 'nightmare' for Trump, GOP — Prediction

Then-presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks during a campaign rally

I absolutely spoke to the president.

"It is a beehive of stings that Donald Trump is taking from Wolff here".

He told NBC News on Friday that White House staff around Trump treated him like a child.

Still, in private, advisers to the president have at times expressed their own concerns.

Mr Wolff, responding to Mr Trump's claim the book was "full of lies", said the president had "less credibility than perhaps anybody who has ever walked on earth".

The book by veteran journalist Michael Wolff that has the president's lawyers threatening legal action against him is, to put it lightly, a hot commodity.

Margaret Brennan, CBS News: "Sarah, can you clarify?" All but one of the lawmakers she briefed are Democrats. We've seen him first-hand. Jonathan Lemire says Wolff had 'largely unfettered access' to the West Wing compared to other White House reporters.

To which Trump responded with a flurry of tweets insisting he is the world's greatest super-genius.

"I think what's going to happen is Bob Mueller is going to reveal more data points and begin to connect them", he continued. I have recordings, I have notes.

In his volley of tweets on Saturday, Trump said suggestions that he was unfit to be president were out of "the old Ronald Reagan playbook".

Did Wolff and Trump talk?

"It's not from the United States government; it's from the President's personal attorney". While some Republicans have raised concerns, they do so mostly in private, and others scoff at the question, dismissing it as partisan politics.

"On Friday morning, author #Michael Wolff released his book "#Fire And Fury: Inside the Trump White House" which revealed potentially damaging information about the administration. "I spoke to him after the inauguration, yes".

In addition, Wolff says in the book that the president's relationship with his youngest son, Barron, 11, is distant, claiming "an absentee father for his first four children, Trump was even more absent for his fifth, Barron".

What type of impact do you think this book will have on society?

Earlier on Thursday, Trump had lambasted Wolff's book on Twitter.

A lawyer representing Trump also issued a notice to Wolff and his publisher in an attempt to block the book from "further publication, release or dissemination".

Despite some doom-and-gloom predictions following the 2016 election, the stock market has soared.

The book claims that for Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin and former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus, the president was an "idiot".

Mr Trump is described as a womaniser and his marriage to his wife Melania, who he apparently rarely sees, is described as "perplexing" to outsiders.

We rate this statement False.
