Tennis aces Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have expressed displeasure over ATP's new tennis innovations and have asked the administration not to meddle too much with the current format of the game.
Federer has taken all three of their previous encounters and has never donated a single set to Sock.
"It is clear [Federer] is the favourite", Uncle Toni admitted.
It will certainly be a fitting send-off if Nadal wins the title to wrap up Uncle Toni's illustrious coaching career with a win in London.
'I'm just trying to keep playing the best I can and improve even more and try and compete for the bigger tournaments.
The huge 02 Arena is the perfect stage for the man expected to be challenging for grand slams next season. At the French Open, he dropped only 35 games and crushed 2015 champion Stan Wawrinka in the final, 6-2, 6-3, 6-1. I expect the treatment to work and be ready for here.
"I have been lucky to have had a life in tennis with one of the great performers", Uncle Toni said in an exclusive interview with Spanish publication Marca.
While Nadal has long dominated their head-to-head; this year, Federer got the better of him in all four of their meetings.
"I think any success you can have on the tennis court, doubles helps", Sock told ESPN.com. When you come back you want to be at 100 percent, otherwise the problem is you feel you just can't beat the best at the big tournaments, so it's wise and worthwhile to take the extra week, extra month maybe.
The Spaniard, who holds the number one spot in ATP rankings, keeping Federer on second the position, also hinted that grabbing a top rank was not his primary approach. "We know that, for Wimbledon, it's always much more difficult".
He served as an alternate last year, replacing the injured Gael Monfils in one round-robin match.
Coaches were allowed to give advice at the end of each set to players in the 21-and-under ATP Next Gen Finals in Milan last week, too. That's an incentive for players to do the right thing.
Yet between them they have returned from injuries and defied Father Time by dominating the year - Federer winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon to reach 19 majors, with Nadal taking a 10th French Open and the U.S. Open.
He added: "I've won two Masters this year". Are they the favorites to win here? I'm going to play. "It was a cool event, the Laver Cup". I really think that, especially Roger. "Once you've done it, you don't want to bounce back and forward changing something if you don't like it later on". We don't normally get to see that.
"I've been training for a few weeks now".
"We cannot forget that we played all the times on surfaces that he likes more than me".
