Google just announced that the Pixel 2 has received an overall score of 98/100, beating both the iPhone 8 Plus and the Galaxy Note 8.

Aside from this, there's little to choose from when comparing the iPhone 8 Plus - which we previously rated very highly for its camera - and the Note 8.

Surprisingly, Apple Rival Samsung will also win if iPhone X becomes a hit. iPhone X will be released next month. Given Google's comment, you'd think the 2015 Nexus phones were almost identical twins. But it's a good thing for the phone ecosystem that Samsung has come back for another shot.
