Why Trump will fire John Kelly too — Op-Ed

President Donald Trump

Kelly's experience pushing past reservations about counter-parties is exactly what the president needs. Kelly also was supportive of the president's high-profile promise to build a wall on the U.S. -Mexico border. He can shape the White House message and bypass major media outlets to reach millions of Americans. He can force the media to alter the news of the day via 140 characters on Twitter.

The Post's article is problematic for the president on a number of fronts, but, oh, by the way, nothing about it suggests there was any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. And this week, Trump was publicly chided for apparently inventing congratulatory calls from the leader of the Boy Scouts of America and the president of Mexico that never occurred. He's dedicated his life to public service, committed to whoever is commander in chief.

The new rules extend to Mr. Trump's family.

Kelly was first promoted to brigadier general in 2002, prior to the commencement of the Iraq War. "You can thank Congress, the same people that can't even give us HCare!" he wrote.

As I have written before, the frenzy surrounding talks of collusion has created a scandal without a crime. "He has been a true star of my Administration".

The urge to depict Kelly as the adult in the room is understandable. As Kelly takes the reigns of the White House staff, it seems he also plans to crack down on the leaks that have plagued the administration.

"He knows the problems".

It has been a good first few days for Mr Kelly.

It may be easier for Mr. Kelly to impose order than people think.

Given that no one expected Gen. Kelly to be selected for DHS, it's worth looking at names that haven't been mentioned in the press yet.

But how to restrain Trump?

In an essay this week, Sen. There are the constant tweet assaults on his attorney general, Jeff Sessions. But to do that you have to have people in place, you've got to have supervision.

But with the Senate on recess, the earliest vote might not come until the fall. But no one has been able to consistently prevent Trump from stirring up controversy. After Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke warned Sen. He actually told Fox News on Tuesday that "I'll always support whatever decisions that the president makes". They will say this piece is further proof of the scandal's depth and potency. One solution could be bring in foreign workers to plug the skills gap.
