Sunday Morning Weather: Cooler, Active Day

Sunday Morning Weather: Cooler, Active Day

Today: Temperatures staying cool today, only warming into the mid and upper 80s this afternoon.

Even though it won't be raining the whole time, there will likely be periods of showers and thunderstorms late this morning into he early afternoon. Under clear skies, temperatures will fall pretty quickly with morning lows in the 50s and low 60s. Cloud cover going to hang around through the overnight tonight with more northerly winds.

Rain chances will remain solid through the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 84 degrees Saturday, 74 degrees Sunday and 67 degrees Monday. Showers and storms will be scattered in the afternoon and evening.

Highs each day will be in the low to mid 90s.

Thursday, just a 10 percent chance of thunderstorms exists for the area, mainly northern counties.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny and pleasant.

Wednesday will feature the same story as Tuesday with highs in the lower 80s and partly cloudy conditions. However, the rain chances will take a break from the area for most of Saturday.

The northern half of the state should see mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching near 81. Southeastern counties should see the most rain through Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80° Winds NE 5-10 miles per hour. More clouds than sunshine today and I can not rule out an isolated shower/sprinkle today.
