And since Brolin is an accomplished thespian, it seems pretty likely that Deadpool 2 is on the right track.

Regardless, we can expect Brolin's Cable to be kicking plenty of butt when Deadpool 2 arrives June next year, with Wade Wilson's behind in particular a surefire target.

Cable's got one of the more convoluted backstories in the Marvel Comics universe, and that's really saying something.

This image has it all: Cable's signature three-pronged eye scar, Cable's glowing cyborg eye, Cable's metallic cyborg arm (and cyborg neck!), Cable's grizzled hair, and even Cable's bandolier of over-sized explodey canisters.

Meet Cable, the "grumpy, heavily armed" new villain of Deadpool 2, played by Josh Brolin.

Nearly a week after the Deadpool actor introduced Zazie Beetz's Domino, Reynolds took Instagram by storm when he surprised fans with pictures of Cable from the R-Rated movie. And yes, that is a teddy bear strapped to his side.

David Leitch (John Wick) is directing the film from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The inclusion of Cable and Domino as mercenaries helps to show that, like Deadpool himself, this movie world is a little murkier than the standard line of X-Men films have been up to this point.

"Between Deadpool and Logan, Fox deserves to have more [credit]", Liefeld said.

The costume reveal comes after Reynolds also unveiled co-star **Zazie Beetz's** transformation to play Domino in the upcoming sequel.

Filming for "Deadpool 2" is now underway with a June 1, 2018 release date for the highly anticipated sequel starring Reynolds, Brolin and Zazie Beetz.

In 2016, "Deadpool" was the Marvel movie which exceeded all the expectations, in comedy, action and box-office.

Deadpool 2 is easily one of the most anticipated movies of 2018.
