Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti gauging public reaction on Colin Kaepernick

"It's been discussed", Bisciotti said.

That said, the emotions on the other side of the argument are not irrelevant. "We have no issues".

Tight end Benjamin Watson further explained on Sunday night that Baltimore's locker room is about respect for each other, regardless of one's opinion. "We think the momentum is what we want going into the playoffs".

Acceptance was the theme as more and more players were approached on the topic. That being said, I realize both quarterbacks are no longer what they used to be. "We all know Joe is our guy". We love [Ryan] Mallett. That's the culture that's here. "I think it would be a good spot for him".

Last week, Chiefs team owner Clark Hunt said he would be fine with bringing in Kaepernick to the Chiefs if that's what his front office and head coach wanted.

Lewis, now with Fox Sports 1, has been a persistent Kaepernick critic. I get it. I don't agree with the vitriol directed the way of the Ravens' former Super Bowl foe, but the emotions are real.

Riley: Baltimore should pass. Flacco is known for his bouts of inconsistency and having Kaepernick in the fold could provoke the fans to start clamoring for the backup the minute Flacco has a bad game.

Flacco went down on Friday with a back injury and had to be replaced by backup quarterback Ryan Mallett. Kaepernick has a really good relationship with Coach Harbaugh and if Harbaugh can help a player, I believe he's the type of person to do so. Any team that signs him will at least risk alienating part of its fan base.

Just say no to Kaepernick! It's not at all unreasonable he would be someone Bisciotti would want to talk to in this situation.

Mallett's name came up as one of the factors weighing into the Ravens' decision on whether or not to sign Kaepernick. "So you know when I saw him develop past year and he went from sitting to kneeling next to his teammates-I liked that-I just thought if it's still a silent protest, I just don't think the level of disrespect as is strong that way".

Does Yesterday's Quarterback Transaction Indicate Flacco is Healthy?

Because the San Francisco 49ers could not put a competitive offense onto the field to play the last two seasons, Kaepernick couldn't win games. We just don't know yet.

The Ravens signed journeyman Josh Woodrum on Monday and waived David Olson, the Arena League quarterback who was added three days earlier.

The quarterback of their dreams might not be on the roster yet, but it's certainly not Kaepernick or Osweiler.
