Expect Astros games at Trop this week

Houston Astros players celebrate their team's 7-5 win against the Los Angeles Angels in a baseball game Sunday Aug. 27 2017 in Anaheim Calif

Major League Baseball announced Monday that the Astros' three-game home series vs. the Rangers beginning Tuesday will be moved from Minute Maid Park to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., because of flooding in Houston.

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the Texans were planning another practice at Dallas' facility on Tuesday afternoon. The facility includes an indoor football stadium.

The remnants of Hurricane Harvey continued dumping historic levels of rainfall on the Houston area Monday.

The Houston Texans were scheduled to host the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday for the two teams' final preseason game. He and the rest of the Texans went to Dallas after their exhibition game in New Orleans on Saturday and will remain there until conditions improve.

"We're not going to wait until it's too late to start".

On the other hand, Mark Berman Sports Director at Fox 26 (KRIV) via Twitter tweeted that the Rangers did not want to play ball with the Astros in regards to swapping home stands. That's part of being in this business. "I was just anxious about trying to get there, get my people".

The Houston Cougars played a mock game on Thursday night. But there - as in Arlington - an open-air stadium carried a degree of weather-related risk. "Since I got here", the Swiss native told the Houston Chronicle, "I really feel like it's home for me". I still have my home, but I love the people here. "This is not a situation where we put baseball in front of what's important for these people".

Defensive end J.J.

Weathersby and his LSU teammates, along with those at BYU, are keeping close watch, with the two teams scheduled to play each other Saturday at the home of the Texans.

To help those affected by Hurricane Harvey, you can donate to Watt's YouCaring page, Red Cross or any of these foundations. "It's very hard to watch, your family, your friends, your city, go through a time like this and not be there to help".

"But that's our city".

"We're a very tough city and we're a very tough people. Not be there to help with the recovery, not be there to help with the process". Not be there to help with the process. "Just stay safe for now, and once it's over we'll rebuild". We're thinking about you.

Watt did not say whether he thought the game should be canceled instead of being moved, but said, "there are much bigger things at hand, absolutely".

Watt started a fundraiser Sunday with a $100,000 donation.
