Scaramucci: Trump's Admin 'Obviously' Has A 'Communications Problem'

Special counsel Robert Mueller is looking into any relationships or contacts between Trump campaign officials and Russian Federation during the election, but Trump has not been accused of any wrongdoing by federal investigators.

The anonymous source behind a claim of doubts about Russia's alleged interference in the US election cited by Donald Trump's new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, turned out to be... "This (job) is something you dream of". "I think the sanctions had in some ways an opposite effect because of Russian culture".

Asked if he had any regrets, Spicer replied: "None".

"We support where the legislation is now", Sanders said on Sunday.

President Trump's decision to appoint Scaramucci, a man with approximately zero professional experience in communications, as communications director kicked off a chain of rather surprising reactions that culminated in Sean Spicer resigning as White House press secretary Friday.

Still, as with Trump, Scaramucci's tweets tell a bit of a different story, if one goes back far enough.

Spicer's departure from the administration was sudden.

Trump, who had a lukewarm relationship with Spicer, wished him well in public statements.

Trump wrote on Twitter on Saturday that leaks against the administration are a "crime" and that he has "complete power to pardon". He's also been considered as head of the White House Office of Public Engagement. "Scaramucci told host Jake Tapper on CNN's "State of the Union".

Chief of staff Reince Priebus said "It's good to start fresh". Spicer handed in his resignation to U.S. President Donald Trump saying he believed the appointment was a mistake.

Scaramucci also criticized Trump during the fall of 2015. This comes in the wake of reports that Trump had been inquiring on his ability to pardon aides and perhaps even himself.

Scaramucci addressed reporters Friday afternoon during a news conference, thanking Spicer for doing an "amazing job" and adding, "I love the guy".

'Tomorrow I'm going to have a staff meeting.

"I think we should put the cameras on", he said. "He's a dear friend".

He also said Mr. Trump told him Russian Federation might or might not have interfered with the election.

And while Huckabee Sanders delivered that message, Scaramucci offered a variation on the president's current position.

Trump tweeted: "A new INTELLIGENCE LEAK from the Amazon Washington Post, this time against A.G. Jeff Sessions. These illegal leaks, like Comey's, must stop!"

Mark Corallo, a spokesman for the legal team, confirmed he resigned, and a person familiar with his decision said he had grown frustrated with the White House's defense strategy. "The kid took a nothing meeting", he said of the president's 39-year-old son.

Tapper suggested that Scaramucci could 'swing by CNN'.

"If the president says it. there's probably some level of truth to that", he said. "The president likes that". "And it's just really about the leaking that is actually injurious to the government, felonious to the government". In fact, he brought up the subject in his very first press briefing. During his first trip overseas, Trump kept Spicer, a devout Catholic, from a meeting with Pope Francis.

His often fiery demeanour also lead to an unforgettable impersonation by Melissa McCarthy on NBC's Saturday Night Live.
