Production of the OLED-version next-generation iPhone will be delayed to November-December, shipping only in small volumes initially, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report. Already, the device has been delayed multiple times, and the tentative September 8 release date too may be missed.
Apple is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its iPhone, and it is expected that the company will bring a great new iPhone 8 this year.
A recent report by Express claims that engineers and designers at Apple have now descended into a panic mode of sorts at the moment. The firm owned 2,359 shares of the iPhone maker's stock at the end of the first quarter.
Previous speculations have revealed that the iPhone 8 would be sporting all-glass design that it had previously used on iPhone 4S smartphone.
The analyst said the OLEDiPhone could generate a "supercycle" for Apple if it's desirable enough, and that other analysts' estimates have not taken into account this potential supercycle.
The iPhone 8, 3which is is expected to be released in September, is unlikely to be able to justify the price that it is expected to sell at say commentators. But Apple would also encounter similar difficulties regarding the new 3D sensor recently evoked by the site Bloomberg for a face recognition possible on the iPhone 8.
Another related determinant to consider is Apple's struggle to get the under-display Touch ID working on the iPhone 8 as fast and as accurate as the one found among the current brood. The leaked renders also go on to confirm that the iPhone 8 will not come packed with USB Type-C and the 3.5mm headphone jack options. However, there is apprehension Apple might emulate the Sony strategy of going for an enlarged side power button hiding the touch sensor.
Apple's new emojis feature a bearded man, a woman breastfeeding, a woman in a headscarf, and a man meditating.
Apple doesn't usually send out invites to its iPhone launches until the very last minute. However, given the complete lack of any bezels all round, the overall dimensions of the handset will be hardly bigger than the iPhone 7 Plus. AppleiPhone 8, which is organisation's tenth commemoration version mobile, is said to wear a close bezel-less 5.8-inch OLED display.
